What you will learn on TA101
The Schedule
Thursday
On the first day you will learn the fundamental building blocks of Transactional Analysis. Ego states, transactions, strokes, scripts and games will all be explored and unpacked, giving you fresh insights into your own behaviour and relationships.
Friday
On the second day the analysis will deepen as the learning unfolds. Drawing deeper into childhood development and choices, the day will show the therapeutic power of TA to transform relationships in dynamic ways.

TA101 will be led by Susie Hewitt MSc, a respected and qualified TA practitioner and trainer.Susie loves sharing what she has learned about Transactional Analysis and believes it can be of benefit to everyone. Her communication style is warm and she enjoys teaching in a creative, relaxed and enjoyable manner.- The VenueThe course will be held in the heart of Salford Quays at The Lowry Theatre. Easily accessible by road, rail and public transport, the weekend will be hosted in the North Room.Each day runs from 9.30am - 4.30pm, morning and afternoon refreshments are included in the event cost. For lunch we have a list of food options for all budgets in the FAQ section.

Can I pay for the weekend in installments?
There is a £50 deposit for the weekend and the remainder will be due on the day. However, if you book and need to cancel with 4 weeks or more then you'll receive a 50% refund on your deposit.
Do I need to do any prep work before the weekend?
If you want to do any background reading into Eric Berne and TA then by all means do, but the course is designed to provide value even if the subject is new to you.
What are the best lunch options near the venue?
If you are on a budget head into the Lowry Outlet Mall and go up the stairs/escalator to the food court, there you will find a variety of light lunches. There are also a variety of great restaurant choices within a five minute walk of The Lowry.
Would you recommend any hotels near the venue?
The Holiday Inn Express and Premier Inn are located very near to The Lowry and are good value accommodation options while The Copthorne Hotel and AC Marriott are decent mid-range options. There are also many airbnb options near the venue, plus all of Manchester's hotels are just a short Uber ride away!
